  1. Hi all I did was google “ iop dallas tx” Red Bird was one of the more affordable one at around $500 but prices ranged from 500 to ten thousand so you just have to call and find out. Hope this helps
  2. Hi I was able to go to a quest diagnostic center and only paid $55 online and no site fee. Mine was panel 4. It was not observed. I am worried I took Tylenol last night. Will that cause a problem?
  3. Does the urine test have to be observed?
  4. I am ready to contact tpapn to start. And they already told me I will need an upfront drug test. Does anyone know the cost of the urine / nail / hair / blood test cost. The guide says says they start at $55 dollars and up. I read one post that said they paid for a test and it was like $350. So I needed to know to make sure I have enough for the initial test. thanks
  5. Does anyone know what defines inpatient treatment when recommended? I have a new evaluation coming up and I am hoping I don’t get recommended inpatient. I have no had anyone to drink in ten years. Never any drug use and no pending criminal problems. I just wondered if anyone knew of any specifics that would require inpatient treatment in tpapn. Thanks
  6. I have seen post on here saying you cannot work weekends while in tpapn. However in the participant guide it does not say anything about it being a restriction. I want to work 12 hour day shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Does anyone one know if it’s possible to work in a nursing home on 2 twelve hour shifts during the week? Will they make an exception in the schedule? thanks
  7. Yes it is affinity. Do you pay for the test on the spectrum account? Or do you pay for the test at the clinic?
  8. What is the minimum balance funds required on tpapn drug test? I thought you paid for the drug test upfront at the location? Does it cost to have the account maintained at every test? also what is the minimum hair length for testing? Is it 1.5in and if so what do men do if they are bald? Thanks
  9. I am ready to begin tpapn however I was unaware about not taking over the counter drugs. I take Advil pm and Tylenol pm and benedryl for sleep. What do I do if my initial drug screen is a hair or nail test? Should I wait a year to let my toenails regrow before starting so it will not show up? Do they allow you to disclose this upfront before you begin? Any information is appreciated. thanks
  10. I am reading the forms for tpapn participation. I am wondering about the box for dentist as a healthcare provider and also the primary care provider. Is seeing a dentist and primary care doctor required on a regular basis and require clearance? Thanks
  11. However the only reason I’m thinking of going to Texas and trying an extensive orientation is because I have nothing else to do. I have a wonderful family life and I don’t want to leave my family. But I honestly do not know if it is worth it. Making 20 hourly is great but once I figure in saving for a new car to replace my current one and rent and miscellaneous I don’t know if it’s really worth going for... i do think of helping people but at such a low pay scale.
  12. My situation is different. I am just going to find a nursing home that will work with me for an extensive orientation. After that I get to undergo a new evaluation for treatment in Tpapn. I’m just going to wait and save enough money for a 12 month lease to do everything. As long as I can afford to fullfill the beginning requirements of the tpapn contract I think it will all be ok. I’m in for psychological not drug or alcohol abuse. I don’t mind doing it I just wish they would work with you from the start but either way. If I lived in Dallas I would already be done with this. And I don’t know any doctors and doubt I ever will get to. But that’s ok it just cuts out job opportunities and learning experiences
  13. I look at medical receptionist jobs that are paying very well for greeting the patient vitals insurance verification and things like that. If I could land one of those positions at a doctor office in dallas life would be ok but I’m not planning on doing anything for at least a year
  14. I feel better about the treatment cost. I’m required for tpapn however since I’m bipolar my treatment is provided for seeing the doctor for mental health. All I have to do is ask about seeing the counselor once a month which I hope they will do it... also I found a 30 day iop for $500 with payment plan also. I’m trying to find work in the office side in a nursing home in dallas with weekend work and all my problems would be solved. If I had to pay the doctor and counselor out of pocket for tpapn I wouldn’t be able to do it.
