Needing an 80 on both final exams
Hey yall, I'm really struggling right now in nursing school. We only had 4 exams this semester and 2 finals which are most of our grade. I had a bad exam in one class (66) and just recieved a grade of 68 on my other class exam. So I'm sitting at a 79.49 in one course and 79.46 in the second. 80 is passing in my program, and they will round if it's a 79.5. Calculating my grades in canvas I will need an 80 on both to move onto my last semester of nursing school. If not I have to wait til next fall to complete this semester again as its only offered one semester. I need help with studying. One is basically a medsurg course and the other is psych nursing. I'm attaching the concepts I will be tested on. I don't know where to begin and I'm sick to my stomach with stress. Any advice I will take or stories of you being in a similar situation.

Not passing nursing fundamentals
Oh no im so sorry!! I know you felt so crushed. I did pass, but only because I got an 83 on the final. I just barely passed. Don't give up, just keep trying!! Everything happens for a reason. If I were you (this was my plan if I didn't pass as well), I'd study fundamentals online to get a better understanding of everything and maybe answer more NCLEX style questions. That was definitely my downfall. Tests killed my grade even though I understood the content

Not passing nursing fundamentals
Im struggling bad with tests in Nursing Fundamentals class. My total grades have been 71, 75, and 80. I have 2 more tests and a final in this next month and I'm beyond stressed. I've met with faculty and tried getting help but nothings helping me. I study as much as my brain will allow me to everyday but I'm getting burnt out and honestly Im getting discouraged but I know I can't and won't give up. My tests are worth 75% of my grade and no matter how many practice questions I answer I'm just not getting it with the tests. In clinical and lab I do fine. Im not understanding why I can't seem to get a good passing grade. I need an 80 (79.5) to pass the course and right now I'm at a 75.6%. Any advice is appreciated? I love being in this program more than anything and don't want to fail over just a few points

Second time taking Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam
Hey, I have yet to take my test. I take it April 27th! I'm very nervous. I ordered Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams Prep 2019-2020. A girl that's in the current program told me she used this to study and she passed! So far I've just done the reading comprehensive part and started out terrible and then towards the end of the section got 100% on the last practice test, so it seems to be helping me so far Where at in VA are you applying, if you don't mind me asking!

No I am attending a community college in VA that goes by the Kaplan tests! It's accredited and everyone from this school has gotten a job right after graduation!

Second time taking Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam
This is my second year applying to my local community college here in VA for their RN program. My college requires you to be in the 45th percentile for the following subjects: Reading, Writing, Anatomy, and Math. I did amazing in math the first time, it's my strong suit when it comes to school. I have taken A&P 1 and 2. Unfortunately, for A&P 2 I got an absolute horrible teacher who actually skipped a few chapters and rushed through everything else. I passed A&P 1 with an A in Lab and B in lecture. A&P2 I got a C, hardly passed, and while I hate to be the student that blames the teacher, I'm blaming the teacher. When it comes to the English portion, I can't remember what I got but I think I remember not being happy with that score. What are the best ways I can study for this test? I'm stressing and honestly putting off studying because I have no idea where to even start. I feel so lost and so discouraged from my first time taking the kaplan, but I absolutely don't want to give up. I have it a lot easier than some folks and I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old with an amazing supportive husband, so I have plenty of time to study! Where do I start? ?
