I got in as well!! However, I second everything that was said above. If you did not get in, your nursing journey only ends here if you let it. There are many ways to get R.N. behind your name so don't let this discourage and stop you.

I'm trying to transfer in from FSU. I applied to both programs and was waitlisted at FSU, but was then ultimately denied (they changed how they did the waitlist this year and wouldn't take anyone off it after two week ago even if someone dropped). My backup plan if I don't get into UF this year is to change my major to social work and then apply again next year to UF, FSU, UCF, USF etc... I just technically finished my freshman year, but was able to apply early because I had most of my prereqs done from dual enrollment. I have a 3.75 overall GPA, scored a 85% on HESI with 9000 critical thinking, member of Phi Eta Sigma (honor society), member of various clubs, and have over 200 volunteer hours at local major hospitals in patient care and also worked in a leadership positions with various jobs. We'll see what happens soon hopefully ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I applied to FSU (where I go right now) and was waitlisted and then denied. I was going to apply to USF but I didn’t have 7 out of my 8 prerecs done.

I agree completely. I go to FSU and am on the waitlist for their program now and will hear from them May 9th about the final decision and will probably have to accept pretty quickly. I was hoping I'd hear from UF on May 10th so I could make a decision about which one I wanted to do (assuming I got into both) without having already been taking summer classes and have a lease signed. I get UF doesn't have you take summer classes for the program, but that's not the case with everyone and it'd just be nice to know everything.

This wait is killllling me. Like it makes sense for them to wait until final grades come out so there aren't a bunch of changes with people failing classes, but still I feel like they should have it pretty set before that and then just have to make slight changes.

Did anyone else get an email about completing the online assessment? Does anyone know what type of questions consists of?

I haven't heard anything since the email Friday saying decisions were delayed. If I don't hear anything by tonight I'm not going to expect it until Friday.

Heads up!! According to someone I know who is already in the program we won't be getting decision tomorrow because who ever has the final say on all the decisions isn't here. She said we'd probably get decisions Monday or Tuesday.
