Guys, I have a question....once our classes start for this program do we have to maintain a 3.0GPA throughout the program or a 2.0? I know that every school is different

For some schools, as long as you have C’s in all your classes then that’s considered passing. Whereas some other schools require a B in each class as passing

Hey Lauren, I just found out yesterday that I did end up getting accepted! However, I haven’t notified Jacksonville yet. I will be notifying them via email either tomorrow or the day after. Dude, I soo freaking hope you end up getting my spot!!!! ??????

Yaaay, Congrats guys!! I also received my acceptance email! ???? if anyone didn’t get in- keep your head up. I feel absolutely BLESSEDDD to have gotten accepted into UCI- but that being said, I just interviewed at my #1 nursing program today, and IF I get into this program, I won’t be accepting UCI’s offer. UCI was my second choice- so hopefully that gives anyone who got waitlisted some hope!! ? congrats again guys!!

@kisschrissy girl, that’s not embarrassing at all!! I would have totally done the sameee!! Lol I had my interview today- definitely didn’t get a spot right then & there lol the waiting game begins....???? @maeshly awww, thank’s soo much hun, you’re so sweeet!! ??❤️❤️ I have no idea how I did guys- I tried my best though, so just hoping & praying for the best! ????????

By the sounds of it, I highly doubt we will get our results by today. Most likely next Monday at the earliest, but Friday at the very latest. And ughh I knoww- I just want to get the results back at this point! ? haha

Someone said that the previous years all found out the very first Friday of the month of April! Sooo, IF that’s the case that would mean that we’d be getting our results back by tomorrow!!! But I have a feeling that it’s going to be delayed since someone just asked about interview advice THIS WEEK. Just my thoughts- hopefully I’m wrong & we really will be getting our results by tomorrow ????

@kisschrissy ughhh, you are an absolute ANGEL!!! Thank you soo much!! For whatever reason I wasn’t expecting the nurse practitioner question- definitely good to know!! ?? And haha luckyyy, you’re totally right about the writing portion & having more time. Same thing happened to me with a different school since I don’t live in their state. I’m assuming you don’t live in San Diego since your interview was via google hangout? And omg, congratulations on getting in right on the spot!!! That must have felt sooo rewarding!! ?? Azusa is my #1 choice, soo that literally would have made my day! Haha Thank’s again for all your help!

Hey! In terms of competitive wise, I can’t give you an exact answer because I actually didn’t want to know how many student were applying to the nursing programs that I was applying for....for whatever reason, when I know the specific numbers it makes me more nervous lol but after I got accepted I believe a student said approximately 150 or 160 got interviews & 41 got accepted (I believe). As for your GPA- DON’T let your grades scare you away from having an opportunity! I personally have a high 3.3 or a 3.4 exact & got interviews for all the programs I applied to. Grades are important to a certain extent but what you put in your PERSONAL ESSAY is MUCH more important. Schools want to see that you actually took your time on the essay & put true effort, have great experiences (clinical/non clinical), etc. I wish you the best of luck! ?

Hey! I’m still undecided since I have one more interview to go in April & I get the results for another program back in the beginning of April. IF I do not get accepted into these two schools, i’ll Accept JU’s offer. However, if I end up getting accepted into one of these programs, I will not be attending JU. The two other programs are in my home state, so it would be more convenient ?

Hi guyssss, how does everyone think they did?! I just completed my interview & I personally felt like I did pretty well on the first two questions- however, on the third & fourth question I feel like I could have done much better! Lol I just feel like I kept on getting more nervous as time went by....maybe that’s just me ??‍♀️? p.s for those who are still waiting to take it- my questions were all fairly common questions. Nothing too crazy at all. Good luck guys!!! ?

Yess, my first choice is Azusa as well @maeshly !! ? btw, do you know if Azusa has a "time limit" on how long our answers have to be?? For example, I also received an interview invite from UC Irvine and in their email they specified that we only have 3 minutes to answer a question. I feel like I'd go over 3 mins for two particular questions! (example/story questions!! haha).

Also, simplicity of letter of recs probably make a huge difference too I’d assume. I personally only requested LOR’s from people who have actually known me for a few years (1-3 years), that way it would be much more reliable & credible since they’d know my work ethic/personality & character very well. Also, thank’s @Manarae and @Alexam, your posts were very helpful!!!? ?????? If anyone plans on taking the interview early, could you PLEASE let us know how it goes?! I have class + work, soo I probably won’t be taking my interview until Saturday or Sunday haha
