  1. Hey, friends! I have a friend on the waitlist. Does anyone know the latest she might hear back?
  2. Keep us updated Grad program peeps!!
  3. ME TOO!!!!!!!!!
  4. If they sent rejects/waitlists today I think no news is good news for now!
  5. For traditional BSN!
  6. A friend of mine just got an email that she has been waitlisted!
  7. A friend of mine just got an email that she has been waitlisted!
  8. Today is hopefully (probably not) the day!!!!!
  9. Nothing yet! I thought about being a total *** and saying I got an email on April 1st. I decided against it. HA! Congrats on UTMB!
  10. I can't stop refreshing my email and checking NursingCAS just in case I missed something! It's killing me. I thought the interview process went well! The real questions were way different though, thankfully! One of my friends got a practice question that was something like, "How would you calculate the revenue of the 2012 Olympics?" Not that difficult but so random!! How are y'all holding up?
  11. I did!!! ??? has anyone else heard anything?
  12. Oh me too! As of this morning! CONGRATS! Y’all check your emails!!!
  13. Y’all check your emails!!!
  14. Anyone who did an interview, how did it go?!?
  15. Wow! Congrats!
  16. Accepted to where??
  17. Did anyone apply to UIW?? I just got called in for an interview!
  18. This was so encouraging. Very well spoken! Thank you!
  19. Hey! I had the opportunity to tour the facilities today with my school. I asked when they would have acceptances out. He said they are hoping to have interview offers out by March and acceptance/denials out by April. He said they are vague on purpose and to NOT call the school and ask when we will know something. Haha
  20. Hey, future classmates! Every morning I check NursingCAS (I know it's way too early to know) and this discussion forum. I think it helps ease the nerves. Before I applied I read through the previous posts similar to this one. SO for future applicants, let's share advice about the process. What advice do you have for students applying to the program? Mine would be: 1) Attend an application workshop, if possible. 2) Turn your transcripts in the right way and early (don't forget the cover letters!).
  21. Hey! I went to the application workshops at UTHSCSA and the man running it said they take the essay and activities form very seriously along with your scores and GPA. I hope you were able to put some really great stuff on there! Have you had a chance to look at the student profiles for past years?
  22. Y'all are so squared away! Is there a particular area of nursing you'd like to work in? I think interviews will be before admission decisions are sent out. I spoke with the man who does recruiting for the Alamo colleges and he had me under the impression that it is a part of the admissions process.
  23. That's great news! Keep us updated!
  24. What sorts of hobbies, activities, etc. were you able to put down or write about? I am so interested to know about everyone's experiences! I liked it too. From what I understand it is the first semester that they are doing it? I am interested to see if and how things change! What I appreciated most was the opportunity to write an essay. I am a mom and took my first ever college finals when my daughter was just 2 weeks old sleepless, leaky boobs, and all! Needless to say, I got a couple Bs that semester! HA! I said all that much more graciously in the essay though
