  1. Ann1993, i think those with 76 points should be comfortable that they’ll get pulled, even those with 75 points. It’s just hard to know for sure because life happens. Tomorrow is the cut off for accepting fall. Fingers crossed for you. Let us know!!!
  2. Hi RNMHA, I emailed mine yesterday and got a confirmation today. Although I did also ask a question in the email. I think they should either way. -Adrienne
  3. Check your emails!!!! i was accepted for fall!!!!!
  4. Congrats to all with approved documents! As of 12:23, mine were approved as well. Such a relief to know. It was a nail biting wait wondering if everything was done correctly. Lol monday is almost here y’all!!!
  5. Not yet. We may just have to try to sit patiently. Only 7 more days
  6. It’s a tough wait. I’m fairly confident with my 79 points, however, I do not want to get cocky. I know there’s a possibility I could have done something wrong. I know that I checked my documents a hundred times, had Marcos check them, and Kendis checked them again when I turned them in. I will still be a nervous wreck until that email arrives
  7. It works. Thank you callmepri!!!
  8. Same here. I don’t know of any other way to access our status either ?
  9. It’s hard to know. There’s so many of us. But fingers crossed for you!!
  10. Maybe something was not correct on their applications? Someone on here has a friend with 71 points who got an email. But someone else on here with 71 points did not. So not everyone with 71 points was invited to provide supporting documentation. But it seems at least 1 person was.
  11. That will be point based. Once all that have documents approved are in order, they will re-evaluate points. They do this because maybe someone with high points won’t have appropriate documentation or maybe someone fibbed on their application and become disqualified. So out of those qualified on the MJC campus, the top 80 will be accepted and then the computer will randomly assign you to fall or spring semester. The same will go for Columbia, but they have their own pool of people.
  12. Callmepri- I don’t think 71 will be the cutoff. That is the cutoff for those selected to provide supporting documentation. This includes those that will be on the alternate list. The cutoff to get accepted will be higher.
  13. Nursesrule7 - I believe documentation approved is what they use when documents have been verified. If you’re selected it will be accepted for fall or accepted for spring
  14. The lowest admitted to Columbia last year was 71. Lowest for MJC was 73
  15. Nothing fancy. I stapled the pieces that went together then paperclipped the packet. Make sure you have your application summary. That is where they’ll double check and initial that you have everything.
  16. I am. Although, my mom is also now a student at MJC and will graduate next spring!! So, maybe not? Lol
  17. Just like half court said. You don’t need to provide hard copies of your transcripts. However, I was under the impression that any other school transcripts (if there’s classes you’re counting from those schools) need to be on file at MJC. This morning when Marcos was going over my paperwork he made a comment about it. Where it says official transcript as supporting documentation he said I was ok because they were already on file. For your TEAS you can electronically transfer them through the ATI website for $27. I did this last night and confirmed with Kendis this morning that they were received. I really hope this helps. Best of luck in getting it all together and submitting it. My recommendation if you’re nervous is to go in first thing in the morning and have Marcos go over it with you. You’ll have to take a little time off work to submit everything anyways.
  18. I did that today too!!! Best of luck!
  19. Hi Ann!! I applied with 79 points. If I don’t get in I will consider LVN, but likely finish my language classes and keep working as a CNA to increase those points. And maybe retake my TEAS.
  20. Callmepri- I think you’ll be ok!! 75 is very good! Fingers crossed for you! This month will be a rough wait, but we can survive it. Halfcourt- fingers crossed my friend!
  21. Ugh! I’m so sorry! I applied with 79. How many did you have?
  22. Thanks for thinking of this!!! Congrats on making the first round. I was selected for providing documents as well!!!!! ?
