  1. I got a phone call yesterday offering me a spot in the Ashland ABSN to DNP-FNP program!
  2. No, I'm in Ashland on the 21st (and trying to find comrades ? ). Safe travels, and best of luck!
  3. Thank you so much! I'm actually female. I spent my early twenties in research science studying volcanoes (thus the screen name). My love of people, in particular through the avenue of teaching, brought me to healthcare. I'm sorry you didn't get a call, but you seem really intelligent and driven. I wish you well in your future endeavors!
  4. Yes, I got mine just after 5pm this afternoon! Are you interviewing in Portland?
  5. Did they mention when you might be getting an email, by chance?
  6. Yay! Congratulations!
  7. I'm not a registered nurse yet. I applied to the accelerated bachelors to FNP-DNP program.
  8. I applied to the ABSN to DNP-FNP program in Ashland and received a similar call on Friday. Still no email, though. I thought maybe because of the inclement weather? Marquam Hill must be pretty dicey right now (although I don't really know, I'm not in Portland). Are you applying to the Portland program? Good luck on your interview!
  9. Hello! I also applied to the ABSN to DNP (FNP) program in Ashland, which has an interview date set for February 21. I still need A&PIII, micro, nutrition, and human development. My undergrad GPA is less-than-stellar (3.35), but I graduated in 2012 and took a lot of chemistry and calculus. My pre-req GPA is 4.0, I have volunteer and teaching experience, and I have about 800 hours of healthcare experience as an inpatient phleb. From what I've heard, that position isn't looked at as fondly as a CNA or MA, but I work with patients and deal with Epic a lot, and I respond to codes, which I think is really valuable. Anywho, I'm getting very anxious to see if I get an interview...
