  1. 4 interviewees, 4 interviewers. Very structured. 2 min responses I think? No follow up questions. All different questions to each interviewee, except one question we all had. Questions were nonspecific to nursing/medicine. They’re trained not to give nonverbal feedback. The rigidity of the interview aims to eliminate as much unconscious bias as possible. Most stressful interview I’ve ever sat through. But I made it in! Good luck! And don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get in. There’s a certain degree of luck with these things.
  2. Did they release interview invites already? I think I got mine beginning of Feb last year. Just be yourself. Don’t overthink it.
  3. I haven't. I'm so paranoid my deposit got lost in the mail ha!
  4. I start in summer!!! Going to try to switch to fall though. Gah! So stoked!
  5. Yeah, I’m pretty sure for ABSN Portland they said they’d be meeting today to decide and decisions would go out Monday or Tuesday.
  6. Does anyone have any idea what percentage of applicants interviewed get accepted? Or how many people got interviews? Asking about Portland ABSN
  7. Hi everyone, I'm currently applying to OHSU's ABSN program for 2019-2020. I was hoping that some of you who were accepted last year could tell me: What were the questions you answered during your interview? What was the proctored essay question? Thanks and congrats! Hope school is going well :)
  8. Me too!! March 1st 4A 1pm!!! Let’s crush this! I feel like nerves are half the battle in an interview, so even being familiar with one person in the room will be an advantage to both of us. Let’s chat!
  9. Cool, thanks!! I'm on a semester system, so I won't have to do an A&P III. Reading through this thread, looks like a lot of people are still finishing up prereqs. Good luck, y'all!
  10. Does anyone know how not having all the prereqs done affects overall competitiveness of an applicant? I have a 3.86 overall GPA and a 4.0 prereq GPA, but I'm still finishing up A&P II, Genetics, and Nutrition this semester.
