Hi All! I am wondering if anyone else has applied to the Legacy Residency in Portland for February of 2021. We can update each other here! I haven't heard back yet but hopefully we'll be getting emails about the interview day soon.

Summer ABSN

I haven’t gotten an email ? I wonder if they come out in waves or all at once. Still hopeful!

Has anyone heard about their interview yet? I’m checking my email like crazy.

Are people comfortable sharing their stats and experiences? It would be cool to know what all of our backgrounds are! My overall GPA is 3.9 and I’m not sure what my pre rec gpa is but it’s a little lower and I haven’t finished nutrition or genetics yet. My hospital experience comes from working as a rehab Aide in acute care for the last year and a half. I mostly work with med/surg patients and ICU/IMCU. I had gotten into an OT program and realized after working in a hostpital that nursing is a better fit for my skills and personality. I am so excited to provide up close, comprehensive, and collaborative care to people. What is your background?

@abcdenrse I’ve heard that the interview questions hit on similar topics to the questions on the application. But that’s all I know. Anyone else know what they are like? and I am hopeful for the summer cohort ?

@hopefulnursemidwife I haven’t heard back about interviews. Their website has interview dates for the ABSN program as February 28th and March 1st so I think emails will go out 2-3 weeks before those dates. Has anyone heard much about the interview format? I know they are group interviews but not much else.

Hi! I also applied for OHSU’s ABSN. I’m not super hopeful since I haven’t finished all the pre recs yet but the admissions person I spoke with said that wasn’t a huge deal. I’ve heard this program is really competive. Does anyone know the acceptance rate?
