Hey everyone, I started a new research job recently, third week in. I love the hours. However, there is no plan or “real” orientation. Basically, I had to take it upon myself to find out what , tasks, assignments, and etc, to do. The main nurse is out in personal issues and travel nurse is new and still learning. Since management is giving no direction, I decided to follow/ shadow the travel nurse. However, I still can’t do anything because I do not know what to do. I’m very disappointed and discouraged because I taught the experience would have been better. I am actually thinking about looking else where for something else.
