Riverside City College (RCC) School of Nursing (SON) - Spring 2020
Hey there! The dean actually shared that there has been an influx of applications for this period due to a lot of other schools in the area closing their doors. There could be a delay in response due to the influx of applications. I personally didn't hear back for the CEP program until Mid december and the ADN program was a bit later than that. Hang tight! The news will come!

I just started in Feb for CEP. Fall is in Cohort with CSUF and Spring is in Cohort with CSUSB. The cut off changes depeding on the applicant pool. When I was accepted to the program, I think the cut of was around 73 points but I am not sure. I was accepted as an alternate. There is a sheet of requirements for the ADN Program on their website. To apply for the CEP program, you would just need to make sure that you were "Transfer" ready. Meaning you have Poli Sci 1, language arts, etc. You would need to make sure you are ready to be accepted to a CSU program

If I recall, they should be getting to us either later this week or early next week for this information. No word yet on transcripts, but try to check your portal on their website. I could see some things in myCoyote. also, If i remember correctly, we wont need uniforms until about our 5th semester. So pretty much after we would have graduated from RCC. They never said we have to be in RCC uniform either on Fridays for class and lab, but I may just come in uniform to not get in trouble

If you applied to the CEP program, you should call CSUSB and check for any items on your financial aid to-do list. I called to make sure that everything was in order for me and was told that I have to submit my Social Sec Card and my drivers license because Financial Aid doesnt have me in their system. That could have been a disaster

Hi there! Absolutely you can get in with a B! I am an Alternate for CEP and I got a B in the same class. It all depends on how you scored in 50A and Bio-55 too. The better you score on all three of those classes, then the better chance you have. As for your CSU requirements, you dont HAVE to have it done to apply but honestly the chances of you being accepted are slim to none if it isnt complete. Anything in progress doesnt count. If you have not already attended a workshop, definetly do so! They are full of information and you can ask your questions directly to S.

Hi guys! You would need to purchase the Drug Screen, the background, and the immunization one. I am an alternate, so the only one I currently paid for and am doing is the immunization. I will wait for Intake day before paying for the rest. So the BOG wont cover the fees for Cal State? those need to be paid seperatly?
