  1. For reference: I applied for the Fall '19 Sacramento ABSN cohort, with our applications due April 1st. I was accepted during the 1st round of offers, which didn't occur until June 18th (if I recall). Good luck everyone!
  2. In the Fall '19 Sac ABSN Cohort, we registered for classes last week. I just took a look, and it appears like we have about 45 of the 48 seats filled at this point (although some of the main classes only have 1 or 2 seat left, so it could vary). Just wanted to give an update, and that there may be some spaces available for those still on the wait list.
  3. I posted the check list of items that are needed to be completed prior to admission a bit ago. For those still waiting, @Brett Zorich makes a great point!
  4. @1964retsub No need to submit a physical letter. Your deposit and essentially clicking through the letter of intent pieces will suffice! Congrats! Feel free to join the Sac cohort's Fall 2019 FB group if you'd like! https://www.facebook.com/groups/375330429767538/
  5. For those on the wait list, who anticipate getting in, I would recommend making sure that you're up to date on your major vaccinations (including Varicella, or do a blood titer to determine immunity), 2-step TB tests (or blood test), and CPR certification (BLS from the AHA). Might help move things along so you do'nt feel so rushed! See attached ? student_health_packet_7-21-17(3).pdf
  6. Be sure to join the FB group of you'd like! Congrats!
  7. Great news and congrats! Which campus did you get accepted to? We can invite you to the Facebook groups of you'd like to join!
  8. I've accepted my offer, and already paid the deposit (for Sac).
  9. I also received my official letter this morning for Sacramento. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We should start a FB group (like other cohorts have)!
  10. From past experience, it never listed a waitlist number. I emailed every two weeks or so to ask of there was any movement. Anne was very helpful and timely. Just be aware that they are very busy people trying to answer nervous emails from many anxious students!
  11. I got accepted for the Sacramento Cohort ?
  12. Definitely ready for the wait to be over lol
  13. I'm gonna guess 3 more weeks lol. At least
  14. My bachelor's is in psychology. And I have a masters in counseling. I also got through 2/3rds of my PhD prior to moving back to California. I currently work in higher education at the Dean's level. I'm excited to leave the field of higher education while I work in a new field ?
  15. I also received my preliminary review email today. I applied for one of the Summer cohorts and was waitlisted. Based upon the last cycle, I was surprised to see this notification so early. So, maybe that's good news things might move along a little more quickly!
  16. @CardioCardi it's actually just passing the 8th week ?
  17. The folks I have known who have moved through the program said that acceptances are sent out in numerous waves. This is still early in the process! So, folks who have not yet heard back, I would try to remain calm ?
  18. It could be that the emails are campus-specific too?
  19. My email didn't go near into the amount of detail that was posted above. Very simple, saying that my review was completed, and that they looked forward to working with me through the application cycle. I also applied for the Oakland cohort!
  20. I received my preliminary review email this morning. Hope everyone is doing well!
