Yes thats how it was last semester. You can only choose one. Therefore I thought it was the same again but the application didn’t have an option to choose between two schools. When i asked, she said torrance and compton became separate schools. So I had to attend both school’s info session and separate application process. still haven’t received anything yet...

Hmm i applied to both.. maybe acceptance letter were sent out first?.. Congrats, do you mind sharing your point for compton?

Yes the lottery system programs are very difficult to get in and point systems are way too competitive. Just stress after stress imagining when we will get accepted.

How do you guys know letter is coming? does the usps show you certain things?

I don’t remember fully but I heard its similar to lbcc. On the lbcc info session, the director told us that there were about 400 applicants and they accept about 40. Since that school is kind of a lottery system too, thats about 10% chance of getting picked.... This is how I calculated lahc chairs available during info session was about 90 plus people standing and people outside listening. So about 100 per session I think there were about 5 sessions. So that means assuming it was all full, 500 people just for this year’s session. Lets just forget about hundreds of other people who already took the info session previous years. And I remember the guy speaker said they will be accepting about 30 students Thats already 30/500= 6% of getting picked. Even worse if you add those other students whos applying again. So its literally hitting a jackpot on a lottery. I could be TOTALLY wrong but Im sure its something like that. Goodluck to everyone Yes the nursing program admission system is crap.

I was also considering wcu but the cost scared me away... I read many different price range due to transferring pre requisites. I would love to hear about the price tag they give you

I remember when I asked that guy speaker at the info session if I need to send my TEAS scores, he said not to send it until they asked for it. So I just put my TEAS informations on the application. I received the email few hours ago, so I sent the scores right now.

I see. My Science gpa was about 3.75 i hope thats good enough... I remember the counselor saying they will choose some from the high mid and low gpa groups... Which I dont like... what was your gpa?

To anyone who took the TEAS before Are they going to ask us to send the scores later? How do they make a decision of acceptance or denial without our TEAS score? Im sure they went over it during information session but I don’t remember...
