  1. I’ve been searching the internet for this information too. I’m suppose to start my first class in August, MSN public health concentration.
  2. It was fairly easy, straightforward and self paced.
  3. Couldn’t say. They are all well rounded people with strengths in a variety of different intelligences. It’s cool to be a part of such a diverse group of people.
  4. This is a crude estimate but from the current cohort is sounds like GPA’s varied from 3.4 to 3.9. Some had premed backgrounds with heavy science and math course loads. Jobs varied from business to medical providers from other countries. I think the most common jobs were hospital techs, emt, research, health aids.
  5. You should receive an email with the instructions on how to register for classes. We all take the same courses, you’re really just picking lab sections for preference of early of late labs. feel free to direct msg me if you need help. I’m relocating to Rochester next week and completed most of the checklist.
  6. It’s scheduling day! Hopefully everyone gets in the lab/time they want.
  7. Military education benefits, private loan
  8. I had my ID number from registering for UR nutrition course. I just saw some of the checklist courses were populated to my account. I hadn’t received any of the other feedback.
  9. I just found an apartment in Rochester in the downtown area near the inner loop.
  10. The summer semester class schedule is posted online. https://son.rochester.edu/assets/pdf/schedules/may-summer-03-18-19.pdf
  11. Idk but the deadline to declare is March 28th with $1000 seat deposit. I’m sure that’s going to be hard for a few people.
  12. We should see it next week
  13. My experience is weird. Public health tech for 3.5 years with the military. It includes providing audiograms, patient interviews, patient education, patient parameters, entomology, medical intelligence and surveillance, food safety, occupational safety, and very basic epidemiology. I also worked in sterile processing and as a floor supervisor to hospital support staff(dietary techs, transporters, supply, housekeeping, floor techs)
  14. Have you tried sending an email? I did that throughout this process and received feedback in a reasonable time without the run around or phone tag.
  15. I sent an email and got a call back. I got accepted. Now whose looking for a male roommate ?.
  16. I would’ve been okay with a no around the first projected date. I only applied to two places. I feel for people who applied to multiple programs and lost seats for a maybe. This will remain an issue as long as the program is still receiving large amounts of applicants and reapplicants with little backlash for prior missed acceptance deadlines. But I’ll admit, sometimes I forget there are people on the other end of the process. Some situation, like loss of a key team member, can chaos in a hectic process. Trying to remain positive so frustration doesn’t spill into other aspects of life.
  17. This is a month later than projected. I wonder what happened?
  18. I could barely sleep @BSpart2
  19. Did anyone else apply for the Acc-MS track? If so did you have your second interview?
  20. I hadn’t invested much time into looking for a place. I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Haha. I’m guessing college housing is out of the picture?
  21. For some reason the acceptance notification date was pushed back to end of February per an email I got from the admissions rep. I was afraid to ask additional questions and she didn’t provide any reason for the delay.
  22. @nursing915 I’m looking to relocate from PA. Waiting until end February is making me nervous. Leaves a little over 60 days to make some drastic moves.
  23. Well this is going to be a rough winter. Did your interview go well?
