  1. If you called the MEC center you will receive different answers as to the required score. specifically if you call the advisement office administrator/ the deans assistant.
  2. then towards the end of the convo she said she sees what I'm seeing , i called the regular counseling office though they told me i was correct testing tomorrow so we will see
  3. the lady in the back of the advisement office, usually she's very informative but she kept telling me "no! they mean all scores have to be a 68" when it clearly says 68 COMPOSITE means all scores averaged together
  4. Hello everyone I’m extremely confused ! I called the nursing school and they told me that they required a 68 on each section , when online is says 68 composite meaning all the scores averaged together , can someone clearify this for me ? I think I got the wrong information
  5. No problem You have to wait 30 days with retakes so I would just apply .
  6. What’s your gpa , they might overlook it
  7. Nova does not require the Kaplan they require the ATI teas
  8. What resource did you find most helpful for the test now that your done testing.
  9. Hey Sara amazing ! you can email me and I’ll give you my number from there! My email is [email protected] Sidenote: anyone else interested In a study teas group is welcome as well to contact me.
  10. Hello thanks for this info it’s very useful! I’m currently having difficulty studying for the teas so if anyone is interested in a study group I would be glad to set something up, now in regards to the teas scores what should an applicant be shooting for ? And if you don’t mind me asking were your past scores.
  11. And what day do they do walking in advisements I know its only once a month but I was jw
  12. Theres more than 60 spaces I believe , if you look at last years previous forum there was 100+ students accepted
  13. Are you saying that they are going to extended it this year and I’m looking into their co enrollment program but unsure of what classes to take!
  14. okay it doesn't hurt to retry! and I'm currently at a lost myself trying to find co enrollment programs I can enroll in while in nursing school to obtain my bachelors immediately after graduation ? any recommendations! i don't wanna look at a million schools and make a decision !
  15. Hello CMA2RN1 are you applying to Nova? and they just recently said that bio 142 is no longer a requirement to apply so i would worry to much about that, I would take the section you scored the lowest in over but i think your score is proficient ! and if you don't mind me asking , what did you use to study cause currently I'm studying the ATI secrets.
  16. Hey hope what classes are you taking this semester
  17. Yea a C and above is required for both of them and yea their still relevant surprisingly, double check with mec just to make sure
  18. hey hope I was just wondering who told you this, and thats great that ur retaking
  19. Hey Khallera i was just wondering on the nursing application do they ask you if you have a degree, and any work experience ?
  20. Yea i agree it would increase your chance of getting accepted, i myself retook anatomy and physiology and failed it the first time around, GPA is a 3.7 and my grades in the prerequisites are SDV=A BIO 141=A ENG=A PSY 230=A And I've taken plenty of electives, now I'm preparing to take this teas test but I'm not sure how to study this science section !
  21. ok understood, and no im going to began the class in january on the nursing abc website, my last class required before applying, looking back on the previous forum from 2018 i think your gpa is fine have you spoken to a MEC representative about it?
  22. You can take any elective as long as its three credits and why would you have to pay out of pocket? Ill be applying after I complete chemistry and take the teas test.
