I passed my CGFNS exam last March 9, 2005 and took the IELTS last March 18, 2006. I verrified my IELTS results with the IELTS administrator here in the Philippines and with the DHL courier if they forwarded my test report form to CGFNS already, they told me that they sent it already and was received by CGFNS last April 19, 2006. My problem is everytime i check my online status, it haven't change... still indicates "CP Successfull but waiting english result" i emailed CGFNS to follow up my IELTS result but they are not replying. Do you think im still on track? Do you think im having a big problem that i should start calling them? there is this new regulation that everything should be completed in just 12 months but during the time i filled my papers to CGFNS, the regulation that time is to complete everything in 2 years. Im just scared that my papers would expire and pay everthing again. any opinion would be helpfull... thanks!

Hello everyone! I passed everything (CGFNS qualifying exam, NCLEX-RN for California and IELTS). Currently I am completing the VisaScreen Application Form. Although I passed the NCLEX, I still don't have the hard copy of my license because i still don't have a SSN. I am just confused if the one included in the VS handbook which is the Request for Validation of License/Registration is the one i am going to send to CA BON? The form is also asking for my registration number. Is it the same as registration ID which is in my ATT? because when they inform me that i pass there was no registration number indicated maybe because they cannot still issue the hartd copy. Does anyone understands me? help!!!

I am an RN from the Philippines. I passed all the exams (CGFNS Qualifying exam, IELTS, and NCLEX for California). Im still waiting for my CGFNS certificate. Got some few questions. I hope to know some of our ideas or opinions. 1. How long will it take to become an immigrant in the US using Consular Processing route? 2. How long will it take to become an immigrant in the US using the Adjustment of Status route? just wondering because i have a tourist visa. 3. Which is faster or better in applying for the VisaScreen, through mail or Online? Any ideas would be highly appreciated. Ihanks everyone!!!

Hello! I am a Filipino. I passed the NCLEX-RN for California already. I'm planning to go the States this April. I am wondering if getting an agency in the States is better because many says that it is better to get an agency because everything will be more easier in getting a job and the processing for changing my tourist visa status to working visa status will be more faster and some agencies do not affect the nurse's salary but instead they are paid by the hospital. I don't know if these are true! Please help me... Should I get an agency or should I go for direct hiring?
