I was also accepted yesterday and I applied on December 15th. I emailed admissions and asked when decisions would be out and they told me February 15th, so I was shocked to see an email so soon!

I was also accepted and got my letter on Christmas Eve! I paid my deposit as well. Definitely interested in a facebook group. I'm happy to create one if no one already has!

I think they email you a decision! That's what I read on past discussion posts about MGH.

@gopats1234 I applied October 27th and my application was officially listed as complete around November 19th (I had to send them my transcripts a few times before they were finally received) Hope this helps and good luck !! :)

I just received the same message on my application- "Congratulations! This is it. Click below to seize your moment at UMass Boston. Be sure to return to your myUMB portal regularly as more Next Steps become available." I also have the Hold and To Do List. I have been updating all morning and finally saw a change!

Congrats!! My status is still in the "initial review you will get a letter soon etc" stage.....hoping to get good news today!!

I sent an email asking for a timeline for decisions for people who submitted for the December 15th deadline and received this: "We still expect to have decisions sent out within 8-10 weeks after the original deadline.".....that would mean we would hear decisions between February 9th-23rd (ugh!)

I received this email today regarding the deadline extension: "You may see that we have extended the deadline to apply in NursingCAS to January 15, 2019 for the summer 2019 application cycle. Please be advised this will not delay the review of your application, or when you will receive your admission decision. The review of applications that were submitted prior to the original deadline of December 15, 2018, will be reviewed as they become complete and are verified through NursingCAS. If any additional information is needed prior to application review, we will contact you via email." Hopefully people who applied for the December 15th deadline will hear back in early/mid January!

I didn't know it got extended to 1/15- thanks for letting us know! It looks like in past cohorts the deadline was also extended and decisions went out based on your original application date..... Maybe that's what will happen again? (Not sure because I haven't talked to anyone at MGH about this)

I read this on another UMASS ABSN 2019 post: "I called them and they said we'd hear back end of January/beginning of Feb and that there was only one deadline Dec 1. I thought there was an Early Action deadline of Nov 1..." I never heard of an early action deadline for the ABSN program- has anyone else? It would be so amazing if we did not have to wait until the end of January!

That's so weird! In past threads it looked like decisions went out end of December/beginning of January. I wonder why its different this year....

A little late but I graduated in 2017 with a bachelors in health science with a 3.6 GPA. I have been working at a hospital as an administrator since then. My pre-requisite GPA is 3.9 & I got an 87 on the TEAS. Hoping we all hear good news soon about our applications!

That's great! I think they want TEAS scores to be Proficient or higher...not totally sure though! My application status says the same thing.

Hi! I just applied to MGH last night for Summer 2019. I graduated in 2017 with a degree in Health Science and have been working in a hospital since then. I'm also applying to UMASS Boston and Northeastern.

I will definitely go to UMASS due to financial reasons as well if I get in (fingers crossed for both of us!). I did pretty well on my TEAS - I got an 87. How about you?

I applied to MGH and am working on my application to Northeastern. I'm worried since I only applied to 3 because it's not a lot but fingers crossed! What other schools did you apply to?

Hi! I applied at the end of October and am anxiously waiting to hear back.

I haven't heard anything yet! I just finished my application. From previous posts, it looks like we will hear back around Christmas time/early January.
