  1. Hello all, New here and I have a question. If any of you have experience in these schools it would really benefit a lot hearing your feedback. I graduated from High School on 2014. And I've decided to obtain Nursing as a career. I'm torn between TMCC and Carrington. I like TMCC because it's cheaper and I've heard good things about the nursing program that they have. I like Carrington because it's a two year program, but my question is do you take Pre Reqs during the program at Carrington? I have also heard mixed reviews as well. (I do have plans to obtain my BSN after I get my ADN) I have talked to both schools and I'm kind of in the mindset of getting the program done as quickly as possible. What is deterring me from TMCC is that I have to take my Pre Reqs before I go into the program, which- I believe is normal. But after taking my ACCUPLACER I feel that I am going to have to take many years of pre reqs (especially in math) before getting into the program. I am planning on talking to the academic advisor and see a layout of my "schedule" before applying officially. So I'm in a rut. After thinking about it for a couple months, I do want to take my time with school, because I have heard that college is a great experience. But I want to have a definite answer of which college to go to because it's either going to be "Broke like a joke, but getting it done" or "Cheap, but it's been a hot minute" I could go on and on but I feel that you're catching my drift. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
