Hello Fiona 59, For the moment I am focusing on getting into a nursing school. That seems thus far to be a challenge in itself. I do have options for visas but I am not quite sure which one is better suited to my situation. Did you start out with a Canadian citizenship? Did you have to go thru an IFSI to be able to work? Do you have a contact in your surroudings that has gone thru the same thing? If so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for replying. Talk to you soon.

Hello! I am new to the site and have found alot of interesting threads related to my situation however they are dated. I am a Canadian nurse working in Quebec for the past 7 years and I would like to move to France soon. I am in the process of sending all my documents related to my education and current employer to the IFSI since my degree does not give me the right to work. Have any nurses gone through a similar situation as mine? What was your experience? Also are they in need of nurses or hiring in the south east of France?
