Hi there, so I applied to the Denton program. It’s 100% online. I kept in touch with the grad office while my credentials trickled in from my many undergrad programs. As a result, I knew when I got accepted even before the letter was generated. We’re also the inaugural class of the 100% online program out of Denton (they had a hybrid program previously). You get a vibe of certain things being ‘tried out’ to see how it works. I doubt there’s an FNP program anywhere that’s perfect. This certainly is faaaaar from perfect. Good luck!

Oh wow @ghazibalis! Congratulations! Lufkin is too small to have more than one student NP here ? I understand the 1st year of the program is essentially the same with FNP. Congratulations! I don’t believe there’s an email for orientation. What I got was per conversation from one of the ladies in the office. I DID get an email about registration for classes this month, though. Anyone else did? A BIOL and. NURS class

Hey! Yes! FNP. I am. A close friend of mine who had wanted to start at Purdue Global applied there and was also accepted. We went through BSN together and I’m stoked he’s coming here with me ? Are you planning on attending the orientation in December? Someone in the office said it may no longer be on that date (Dec. 4th). Ot, it may actually end up being all online (like a non-credit course form)- or a combination of both- for those that aren’t willing to make that in-person trip. I live in Lufkin, TX and I certainly don’t want to make the trip if I can miss it. Ya know, we could try and network here if possible and hold each other accountable. The ride will guarantee turtuosity.
