  1. Hi, I am an Australian-trained Registered Nurse currently working in Australia. My partner is American and I would like to move to the US and work as an RN in either New York or New Jersey. CGFNS is currently reviewing my credentials. Is there any Aussie nurses out there currently working in the US? I would love to chat to you about the process if there is! Thank you in advance!
  2. Is there any Australian-trained RN's out there who are currently working in New York or New Jersey? Please get in touch if you are Aussie and working as a nurse in the US! I am currently having my credentials looked at by CGFNS as I am hoping to move and work in the US (New York or New Jersey) in the near future. Any info or advice would be much appreciated!

    Aussie nurses in New York!

Hi All :) I am an Australian based Registered Nurse who is hoping to work in the US. My partner is American and lives in New Jersey, but I think New York is easier to get licensed in, so that's what I'm going for at this point. Is there any other Aussie nurses out there who are currently working in New York as an RN who could tell me how they navigated this confusing process?! I have applied for the Credential Verification Service for New York State (CVS) through CFGNS, but I still seem to be hitting brick walls and it's all very confusing! If anyone has successfully completed this process in the past few years, I would LOVE to hear from you! Thank you for your time! - Heather
