I can't speak to my program's acceptance, but I can tell you that I graduated from a highly ranked nursing school with a 3.9 GPA. I also had my CCRN, and 4 years of ICU experience (when I started school, 3 when I applied).

Thanks for all of the input! And yes, I was accepted to UDM, Wayne, and Oakland. (Crazy!!) It was honestly a very hard decision for me but I'll be attending Oakland in the fall. Very, very excited. :)

Hey nurses So I applied to essentially all of the CRNA programs in the state of MI (except MSU r/t different timing). I was accepted to one already (yay!!) and have interviewed at several others - awaiting results. From what I know, they are all awesome programs with different strengths. I've researched their curriculums, costs, rankings, etc. and I am from MI so I know the areas they are in. If I were to be lucky enough to be accepted to several of them, I don't currently have a first choice. I'm looking for any information/ insight about what makes any of these programs more special/enjoyable/desirable than the others. Anyone heard anything? Know anybody with experience with any of them? The last post I saw comparing these schools was from 2004 so I'm looking for something a little more current. Thanks!

I found out this week that I got in!!!! So many tears. Unfortunately I live out of state now and just had to travel for interviews so I won't be attending the senior conference but I bet it would be a great experience.

Just saw this post as I'm scouring for anything about Michigan schools! I interviewed at UDM a few weeks ago for early decision, I believe we are supposed to find out next week? ahh.
