  1. For those who got accepted, are any of you (or if you know of anyone) planning on deferring? Or going to another nursing school you've been accepted in?
  2. Ahh I see, thanks for letting us know! I wonder why they dont tell you what position on the waitlist you are :/ I feel like that would help me understand what to do from here: stay on the waitlist or apply for sept
  3. Anyone know how good the chance of getting in from the waitlist is? I've tried to find info regarding waitlist applicants getting accepted in previous intakes but no luck!
  4. Around 9am, last name starts with C
  5. I heard back earlier today - also waitlisted but not top 15.
  6. @ao123 I think the waitlist will first fill up the Jan seats (if they become available) and then once the deadline passes they will move over to April. There will either be seats available for the April intake or if it's full, they are waitlisted for April instead. Were you waitlisted in the top 15 for the January intake?
  7. I wonder how many got accepted or waitlisted with similar applications to alot of us: non degree holders without years of health care related work experience. It seems like there were a lot of highly qualified applicants who were also well rounded and im sure that took up a majority of the seats
  8. Is this all your first time applying? I bet you tomorrow they will be sending out more waitlist emails (maybe top 50) and also rejection letters. Who knows though, someone got accepted on 31st last year so hopefully that'll be the case here!!
  9. So true.... I was hoping that perhaps april intake didnt have as many applicants so they would move over january ones, but i didnt even get waitlisted yet so i guess it wouldnt benefit me regardless. All we know is that each intake has 64 seats available!
  10. I agree! It is extremely confusing and while im basing everything on previous intakes, like you said, that was the first time they started up the april intake and things are probably different (and im assuming improved) since then. Just hold tight and dont make any negative assumptions about your status until after tomorrow!
  11. Yes this too! People who are given offers for January have time to defer to April and we dont know when the deadline to make this decision is so who knows if they'll figure out all the April acceptances + waitlisted in this short amount of time
  12. I dont 100% know but last april people from the jan intake waitlist got accepted in january so maybe they're still trying to figure out all the waitlisted applicants for april. I feel like there may be quite a bit of shuffling around still! If you for sure got that message though then you'll definitely find out whether youre on the waitlist or not tomorrow at latest
  13. Also I forget which of you are, but those applying for april intake dont stresss!!! I think people with automatic acceptances hear back first because the rest is up in the air depending on how many people defer, reject their offer, etc so you may not hear until the january intake starts because they'll be figuring out waitlists
  14. from my understanding you will get moved to the april intake if you dont get in the january intake. i bet its a certain number of applicants from the top of the list that get considered and top 15 sounds probable
  15. Also havent heard back so im accepting it is what it is! Will definitely be applying for sept as well and hopefully the competition wont be as tough
