Hi there! I'm in the same boat. LVN hoping to join an RN program. Were you able to challenge some RN semesters due to LVN experience? And was it a CC or private school program?

You can take the pre-req science courses at a CC and transfer to a 3 year BSN program. If you do a straight LVN-RN program its 3 semesters of LVN PLUS a transition course plus 2 or 3 semesters of RN program anyway. So thats 3 years already. If you can afford to go to school full time, just do the 2 year ADN program or 3 year BSN program.

Hi! Does anyone have experience with this Associates Degree RN program at ACC in LA? The price is steep but I can get financial aid for it. It's about $50,000 for the 2-3 year program. Waiting for a CC program to get into has been difficult, waiting list wise. My grades are good but I was an LVN (not expired for 1.5 years) for 7 years so my Pre-req's (Micro and A/P) were taken before that and may be ineligible. I emailed the school but would like some tips if anyone has any. Thanks :)
