I know its definitely a lot to learn and I’m sure ICU float is intimidating. But I am sure they set new grads up for success in these positions. These positions are open to both new grads and experienced nurses

Update, my recruiter informed that freeze is slowly lifting. It will take several weeks for specialty positions to place their “waitlist” interviewees. For now they are filling float med/surg & float ICU. my friend also got a call from NYU Bro...

I applied to a bunch of hospitals including NYP, MSK, Mount Sinai. If there were apps available, there’s a good chance I applied to it. But I know a lot of hospitals like Msk is also having a hiring freeze right now ☹️
