  1. I have been a nurse for a few years now. Right out of school I went into a specialty (home care and care management) that didn't require a lot of the hands on skills we learned in school, No IVs, no blood draws, no Foley's, etc. It did afford me the flexibility for my family, which is what I needed at the time. I really want to switch jobs but I'm afraid that even though I have a few years under my belt my lack of skills is going to be an issue. I feel like I don't have a lot to bring to the table l, any advice?
  2. I have been doing fairly well retaining the knowledge I am learning in nursing school, however I am not doing as good with applying my knowledge to patients. It doesn't help that we aren't able to go to any clinical sites right now because of covid. I was hoping for some advice on now to apply what I have learned. Thanks for any help!
  3. Does financial aid cover BSN or does it only cover 2 year programs, after I get my ADN I want to go on for BSN but if it's not covered then that won't be a possibility until I have worked as a RN for a little while.
  4. What kind of book bag do you use to handle all the weight of the books, one that lasts? Do you use a rolling book bag?
  5. I am waiting to hear back if I got into nursing school and I want to go ahead and get a jump start on what I can. Are there some topics that can be studied before class starts?
