  1. Hey, I'm new to this site. I just started my pre-nursing classes in August. My plan has been to become an ER nurse, but I've been reading about ICU nursing recently. It seems like I'd be better suited for that, from what I've read, because it seems like you get more time with individual patients instead of hopping from patient to patient. But like I said, that's just from what I've read. For nurses who have experience in these two fields, which do you prefer?
