I honestly don’t know! I doubt covid-19 will clear up before the Summer ends and there’s a lot of stuff to do prior to starting the externship..... I’m not gonna get my hopes up

when they called to schedule my interview I got it at like 3pm on a Monday so maybe around there? LOL, or later this week ? I dont think anyone from my class applied but IDK!

another thing I want to note is that the ASU nursing students who have clinical at Mayo are unable to go there also... I wonder if that will happen with the internship ?

we have a 5 semester nursing program at NAU (so we start Spring of our sophomore year) and I'm in my 3rd semester! ? I have clinical right now for med-surg II but all we did was a case study and my group is done LOL

Oh WOW!! Yes hopefully it all works out! And you're right, Mayo is a great hospital, so hopefully they'll continue the program! I really hope we get it because then when we come back next semester we may be a little rusty LOL

hahaha my mental health clinical is doing v sims and movies and my med surg II clinical is doing case studies this sucks? and I havent heard anything, I'm certain we'll hear next week! But to be honest, I feel like this may get postponed or cancelled based on how our local hospitals are reacting by not allowing anyone in besides workers ?

Hey! Mine says interview as well ? Also, I haven't received a call but I was told that we will hear back next week (she told me two weeks on 3/16) How is everyone doing? I go to NAU and all of my clinicals have been moved to online ;( hopefully this doesn't effect the externship. Good luck to everyone!

Hi! I don't know how long the review process takes either, but the program starts in May, so I'm thinking they'll make their final decisions in late March or early April so hopefully they pick who gets an interview within a week but I dont know for sure!

All they said was that they don’t have the posting dates yet but to keep checking the mayo website!

Hello! I wanted to create this thread specifically for those applying to the Mayo Clinic Student Nurse Summer Externship in Arizona. I have yet to see the application for Arizona so I called HR and I was told to email [email protected] to figure out what's going on because HR could not find information about it either ? Hi! I just took the Kaplan, I got an 86% overall and a 85% in the science and I have a 4.0 GPA. Still deciding on what campus to choose as my first choice, I really want to get in the first time so we'll see ! Hows everyone else's scores looking!
