There was an acceptance letter from Bevill State in my maibox today. I've been waiting for an email. I didn't realize it would be a physical letter. It was postmarked June 27th, 2023. The date on the actual acceptance letter is June 23, 2023. My major is still pre-nursing in my student profile. I will decline, as this program is too far and was a backup. I was accepted to the Sumiton campus with 31 points. Application deadline: May 15, 2023 Decision letter: Created June 23rd, Postmarked June 27th.

In the acceptance email from Lawson State we were told we have to fill out a form online to have our major changed from General Studies to Nursing. I have decided to go with Lawson State because I think I'll have a better experience there. I took micro and psych there in 2018 and had no issues. I sent in an email to JSCC this morning letting them know I decline my seat so that they have time to offer it to someone else.

Also, my status never changed from General Studies. According to the acceptance email, we actually have to submit a change of major form ourselves.

I was accepted into Lawson State's evening program for Fall 2023 with 39 points!! Application deadline: Monday May 15, 2023 Acceptance email: Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 1:09pm I'm really torn as far as which program to choose. Honestly I feel like I will start behind the curb at LSCC because I didn't take the medication dosing class that was offered for extra points. I will really have to brush up on that over the next month or so, whichever choice I make.

I received the email today, I got into Jefferson State evening program at Shelby campus with 38 points!!!!!!!! Remember from the previous post that my status was showing my major as Nursing for a couple of weeks. Timeline: Application Deadline: Monday May 22, 2023 Acceptance Email: Friday June 16, 2023 @ 9:25am Good luck everyone!

Hey mine shows like this. I have not been assigned any advisors yet. I only have 38 points and my first choice is the evening program at the Shelby campus. My student profile has my campus listed as Jefferson, which is my first choice for the day program. I don't know if that has always been there or if has been recently updated.

My student profile at Jefferson State has my program as AS Nursing/ Major: Nursing. I honestly wasn't paying attention to it before, so I'm not sure if it means anything good or if my status has always appeared this way. The other two schools still have my status as Program: AS General Studies/ Major: General Studies/ Concentration: Nursing. This was the school I thought I had the best chance of getting into, but we shall see!

Anyone here apply to Jefferson State, Bevill State, or Lawson State for Fall 2023?
