Thank you all so much! Just a little update- I decided to go with the ASN and save my sanity and to try to keep a better balance, I don't want to miss out on their lives more than I must so I really think it was the best option. Not feeling any regrets!
So I have been accepted into an ASN program and I interview for an accelerated BSN program this fall. The BSN program seems like the obvious choice to me but I have some concerns. I have 2 kids (ages 11 months and 3 years) and my husband will be deployed for 12 months starting this October. Can anyone please give me so honest opinions of the possibility of me being able to complete an accelerated BSN program in my current situation? I'm not from my current city so I have no family and not much support so my babies would be in daycare a lot too...How many days a week is a typical BSN program? Would the ASN program be a more reasonable route for me to go?? Please help!! I have to have my decision by the 29th and I'm tormented.
