  1. @cking27 I’m 24 and returning to college so I know that feeling. I goofed off when I first started out of high school and made bad grades, but when I returned I did well so I completely understand hoping they see the change over the years. If you did well on the HESI I’m sure they would note that as well! Have you considered retaking the courses you made C’s in? I took a chemistry again to pull it up from a C.
  2. Hey! I applied for the Fall 2019 semester as well. This is the first post I’ve been able to find regarding it. I applied with 148 points, I hope it’s competitive. I’ve looked over all the past forums for info to ease my mind so I’m excited to talk with fellow applicants as well.
  3. @Moses_ did you get into the summer program? I just applied to the Fall 2019 program at FSCJ with similar points so I was curious. I haven’t found a thread or anyone talking about Fall 2019 applicants so I’m searching for info anywhere I can find it lol
  4. Hey everyone, I am moving to Florida in Spring 2019 and want to apply to the Fall 2019 semester for nursing at St. Johns River. I've done some research and have a few questions that maybe you guys can help me out with. I understand that they can score/rank you off of either your GPA or HESI, whichever one you apply with. Do they look at cumulative GPA or just the prerequisite GPA? I have my general Associate of Arts degree, will that make any difference with anything or no? Also does anyone know what their average entrance/acceptance statistics are? I keep finding mixed info and I'm worried about getting in, I only have three years of living in Florida before moving again so I have to have a backup plan in case I don't get in since I won't be apple to wait and reapply. Thanks!
