  1. You could shadow a perfusionist in the OR or go to an ICU that works with ECMO and gain alot more information about perfusion.
  2. Hi loveanesthesia, I was wondering what kind of personality/qualities it takes to become a nurse anesthetist?
  3. Well the PVT is not a definitive answer to passing. If you had a lot of SATA and priority questions, then most likely the CAT thought you had a good chance of answering those correctly. Hopefully the PVT is wrong! Good luck and keep us posted.
  4. Congratulations! How long did it take you to get your results?
  5. Every nurse was a new grad at one time. When I first started I had a hard time with most of the things you have mentioned. It will get better. It will get better. It will get better. What really helped me was my preceptor and I would talk at the end of our shift about what went well, what needed to be improved, and one subject-i.e. drips or something that came up and I didn't know- that I should go home and study so I will be more prepared next time. Hope this helps!
