    Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2019 Applicants??

Yeah. I got the email. Fortunately, I haven't relocated to Colorado yet. We were in the process of getting everything ready to move next month. My husband really wanted to relocate there permanently, but looks like we might have to put it off a couple of years. I guess the Denver sites are very competitive. I changed my list. I'm hoping for Denver, but if I got into another area that would be okay too. I'm from Oklahoma so, really anywhere would be fine since there are not any sites here.

Awesome! Let me know when you get an interview! I think the earliest I have heard of them doing interviews is in October. Good luck.

Help! Need to find a Biochem/OChem course

Can you tell me how much math is in that course and the difficulty. I am just wondering if it's doable this semester. I am working 4-5 days a week and will be moving in a couple months so I don't want to overwhelm myself.

    Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2019 Applicants??

Hey there! I just finished my application into the Texas Wesleyan CRNA program. I chose the Denver sites as my top two. Anybody else applying to the Denver site? Anybody else applying to any other site? I am hoping we can keep in touch on here, see how everybody is doing, and offer encouragement to each other. Good luck everybody!!

Help! Need to find a Biochem/OChem course

Yes I have been doing some traveling, but I as well will be settling down and getting a full time position until I start school. I think it was a biochemistry class and the San Diego extension. I have been looking into both options so I think I may have mixed it up. They may let you substitute biochem for your OChem requirement.

Help! Need to find a Biochem/OChem course

I am actually relocating and the schools where I am moving don't have (from what I can find) what I am looking for. There is one in the state I am living at now, but I'll be leaving before the semesters up or I would just take it in person. I, however spent another 5 hours last night looking up programs and I have actually found a couple options. If your interested you might look into UC San Diego extension. They have chemistry classes. Theirs was $575. I also found that at Easter Iowa community college, it's about the same price, except they have a lab with theirs. Looking over the syllabus it seems very simple though, nothing like General chem. I also heard about a website called nursingabc.com that offers science classes for nurses for college credit. They are about $400, but they only have an into to Chem. I'd make sure they'd accept that class first before taking anything there. Everything else I found had very expensive tuition.
  9. Hey guys! I am hoping for a miracle at this point. I have spent the last 7 HOURS trying to find an online biochem or OChem course that does NOT have a lab and is affordable. Seems like the only thing I can find is upwards of 1000 dollars. I need one of them, it can be a introductory course, for CRNA school and have to get it finished this year in order to attend school. I anybody has had any luck with this please let me know. I would like the course to be under $500 or so.

    Moving to Colorado Spings!?

Thanks for the reply. That's not too bad considering the cost of living is quite a bit lower in Colorado Springs. I was hoping for $35/hr, but would be happy with the higher end of $30-$33/hr.

    Moving to Colorado Spings!?

Hi guys! So, my husband and I are relocating to the Colorado Springs area, but I am having a hard time getting in touch with a nurse recruiter at any of the hospitals in the area! I have been attempting to get ahold of them for the past several weeks and... crickets! I am moving from Oklahoma and am use to a low cost of living and need a better understand of the pay in the area so I can plan accordingly. I am a contract nurse so I will have some sort of pay cut when I move since I will be going to a full time position. I really need to know the job market and what I can expect for pay. I have been in contact with a hospital in Denver that stated my pay would be approximetly $40/hr as an ICU float. I, however, would prefer a job in Colorado Springs that would allow me to support my family. Can anybody give me a pay range for a RN (BSN) with 3 years of ICU experience in the CCU and half a year in a Neuro/Trauma unit at a level 1 Trauma center. I have my CCRN, PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIH cert. I am not opposed to work outside of the hospital such as home health or clinic work if the pay is right. We are moving in October/November. Thanks for any input!
