  1. I'm looking forward to starting my surgical tech program which will be a year long, 3 semesters; Fall, Spring and summer (2018-19). I also would like to prepare for nursing school in the future and CNA is a requirement for my ADN program and would like to include a fast track 6-week CNA weekend course during Fall semester. Is that ill-advised? -Fall semester we have lecture and labs, meet 3 days a week -Spring semester we do clinicals and and meet Fridays for lecture, meet 5 days a week -Summer semester, we do clinicals and meet 4 days a week Can you give me insight on what I should expect during these semesters so I have a better judgement whether I should include the CNA program in conjunction with the ST? I can always do the CNA later, but that means I have to apply to nursing later as well. I presume it's more manageable if I do the CNA during Fall, as the ST only meets 3 days week. Or is it better if I focus 100% on ST and leave out CNA for later? Why am I doing this? ADN was my first choice, but ST picked me up first, I can't turn down this opportunity (if I don't get into nursing)
