  1. Yeah, I really like how most of Oregon does it. Sounds like what you're describing. Most of Oregon is part of a collection of schools that all seem to have the same logical requirements for admission: Grade Requirements -3.0 cumulative GPA of prerequisite courses -Individual prerequisite courses must be taken for a letter grade and must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher Here's a couple requirements I took from some places I'd like to go to in the Seattle/Tacoma area: 1. This one is in regards to the 5-6 core classes that all schools weight heavily (like microbiology, and A&P): "All courses are "factored" courses and require a minimum grade of "B" within two attempts in a five year period. An overall 2.5 GPA for all college-level courses, from all colleges, is required." 2. Also in regard to the core classes: "A minimum grade of 2.5 for each required prerequisite course " 3. Courses required prior to admission into the nursing program BIOL& 160; General Biology - 5 Credits BIOL& 241; Anatomy and Physiology I - 5 Credits BIOL& 242; Anatomy and Physiology Ii - 5 Credits BIOL& 260; Microbiology - 5 Credits ENGL& 101; English Composition - 5 Credits MATH& 146; Statistics - 5 Credits PSYC& 200; Developmental Psychology - 5 Credits CHEM& 121; Chemistry - 5 Credits 1.Applicants must earn a minimum grade of 2.5 in mathematics and psychology prerequisite courses. Additionally, for all other prerequisite courses, a minimum grade of "B" equal to 3.0 is required. INSANE, I guess if worst comes to worse I can get my LPN in Oregon and then do a bridge program in Washington to get my RN (potentially/hopefully).
  2. Ok, so the 2 lowest grades I have are in Chem and A&P 1. Chem = B-, and A&P 1 = C. Every college I've come across in my area (Seattle/Tacoma) seems to require those 2 classes to be at least a 2.5, and all but one requires them to be 3.0 or above. I'm hoping for a hail marry of some sort because to have to retake those classes w/the degree of burnout I'm currently experiencing sounds less appealing than cyanide. I thought maybe doing a LPN program and then bridging into a RN might be the key, but alas they seem to have the same requirements.
