  1. I am a nursing student who will be graduating in December. I do not have any patient care experience prior to nursing school and am looking for the best advice I can get on how to get hired into LDRP or the NICU right out of school. Fortunately I live in KC and there are multitudes of nursing positions open. However, these are fields new graduates struggle to get hired into. I never even new I would love LDRP but after having my clinical rotation at a facility that allowed us to spend several days on L&D, Mother-Baby, Nursery, and NICU I have truly fallen in love with all of these areas and this is really where I want to end up. I am not fully decided between Mother-Baby and NICU. I like M-B for the interaction with mom and the families and the opportunity to teach teach teach and I love the NICU for the intensity. Any suggestion for what a hiring manager would like to see on a resume/cover letter? Any advice in general would be greatly appreciated! TIA!
