  1. I am 37 years-old and have been planning to apply to USF Tampa's Upper Division nursing school. However, if I just complete my ASN and take the NLCEX, couldn't I work and make a pretty decent living while I do USF's online RN-BSN program? I have quit working in preparation for UD and am finishing up my prerequisites this semester but the idea of not working at all for the next 30 or so months is daunting. I have a family that supports me but it would be easier if I could go back to work sooner. What would be the cons of going the ASN then RN to BSN route?
