Goldfarb ABSN 2019
I ended up using a Walgreen's Express clinic for my TB tests, Hep B series, and flu shot. It was just easier for me than going to my PCP. I hope that you get a letter saying that you are off the waitlist really soon! Alanna

Goldfarb ABSN 2019
I don't know when they stop pulling people from the waitlist but there are a series of requirements that must be finalized by the end of November (the 26th, I think) so that would limit the timing. The requirements entail proof of vaccines, a drug test, BLS for Healthcare Providers certification,a background check, a two-step TB test, and current flu shot in addition to all transcripts etc. I think that was all of them. I am fairly certain that you can defer but I am not 100% positive. My best guess is that you would have to know fairly soon in order to accomplish all the requirements on time. Alanna

Goldfarb ABSN 2019
Sara, Congratulations! I am now off the waitlist and slated to start in the Spring (Jan 7th). I would suggest calling or emailing about a week after you send your deposit to ask where you are on the waitlist. I was lucky and was number 1 on the waitlist a few weeks after I sent in my deposit so I didn't have to wait too long for a spot. The mandatory orientations are November 30th and December 1st for the Spring (January 7) start. Best of luck! I hope that you don't have to wait too long for a definite start date. Alanna

Goldfarb ABSN 2019
I applied in Jun and it took 8 weeks to receive my letter. My undergrad GPA for my BS was a 4.0 but they took the GPA's from all 4 colleges/universities that I have ever attended (I was military) and averaged the GPA's by college not overall classes so that 1 class I took at Purdue and got a 3.0 in weighted as much as the 3 years I took at ASU and had a cumulative 4.0 GPA. My 3.21 GPA for my AA was weighed equally as well... According to their methodology, my overall cumulative GPA was a 3.79. My cumulative core prerequisite GPA was a 3.93. It was a long 8 weeks (I think that I checked the website every day at least once-lol) but I was happy that it didn't take any longer. In the end, I received my letter before the website was updated. I have emailed admissions twice and they have been very responsive to questions I have asked. It took them 3 weeks to deposit the check I sent to secure my spot and I was starting to panic since I was given 30 days to respond. The website still doesn't reflect my status but admissions confirmed it for me, so I wouldn't hesitate to check in occasionally via email if you have any concerns. Best of luck to you, I hope that you get your acceptance letter soon! Alanna

I don't know the precise answer to your question but wanted to say hello. I just found out that I am on the waitlist for the Spring 2019 ABSN class as well with a guaranteed start in the Summer 2019 session so there is a chance that we will be in class together. I have finished all my prereqs, but from the information in the letter that I received, it sounds like you just need to sent them the transcripts as soon as they become available after finishing your classes.
