Noooooooooo!!!! I wish they could at least keep us updated. Our entire lives and planning are waiting on this information. I'm sure there must be some reason it takes this long to do all this but we don't know because no one is communicating with us. *sigh* If it takes them until Friday to let us know, anyone who gets into Fall will have to wait until Monday to set up financial aid and such and have less than a month to get everything settled. It's really stressful. ?

Your stories of not hearing for a week are terrifying me. Lol They refused to start any of my financial aid until I'm officially in the program and I'm feeling pretty worried bout it. Unsure how I'm going to pay for all these supplies too. Bah! I'm not even able to challenge my old income (I made $50k 2 years ago, now...not even close) until I'm officially a student, per financial aid. Madness!

I'm sure there's a TON of work that goes into assigning us to whichever quarter and getting everything in place but we can't plan anything until we know this info. I need to plan! lol

I'd even love an "I haven't forgotten about you guys" email at this point. I'm on pins and needles. I hope nothing has gone wrong. I'm SUCH a worrier. *sigh*

Nothing. I'm dying over here. I even distracted myself for hours painting and promised myself I'd look at 5 because SURELY there'd be an answer by then.....nope. Gaaaaahhhhh!!!

This is the first quarter they are being super firm about all the requirements. They changed a LOT and I'm sure it will take people a bit to ensure they have all the new requirements so they can qualify. We hit the golden time to apply, apparently. I'm still in shock!!

Apparently the lottery is this super serious drama that starts with someone literally rolling a pair of dice to pick a starting number. They enter that number into a computer and hit enter and the computer randomizes the rest. That was my understanding of the weird system she described. Lol Usually there are HUNDREDS of people qualified for the lottery!

Definitely not until after noon. Likely she'll run the lottery after she eats a nice hearty lunch and then will get those emails out asap to stop the likely deluge of emails she's receiving with questions. Lol

I'm 45 and proud of every single revolution around on this rock. Hahahaha I'm not a very good mother hen (more like the fun tattooed, purple haired aunt) but I'm great with a pep talk and a hug. I'm depending on you guys to let us know when anyone gets anything. I don't have the school email on my phone yet. SO EXCITED you guys!!

Same. I will be painting a few rooms tomorrow so that will keep me busy but I'm sure I'll be refreshing my email every chance I get. lol I just wanna know nowwwwww! I'm so excited. It's like Christmas! Let's hope we don't get socks! Hahahaha

Y'all! After 5PM on the Friday before the lottery and still only 38 people in the lottery?! I'm going to celebrate this weekend, for sure, but keep quiet to most of my friends until we get the email. Grayce, I'm paranoid something will go wrong too. I thought I would fail the TEAS (even AS I was taking it) and got an 87% and now I thought there would be hundreds of people in the lottery and there are 38. I'm in shock. I don't usually have luck like this. Last year was so rough and needed this so badly. We all did, I'm sure! I'm SO excited you guys! I can't wait to find out what quarter we all get in and meet you! *fingers crossed* EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

You sound like me. I recounted several times as well. I'm obsessing about this for sure. We can't make any other plans until we find out but it's looking REALLY good, you guys! I'm still in shock at how few people there are in the lottery! Seattle Central, where I did my pre-requisites has similar requirements and I was able to prepare for TCC more easily as a result. I moved to Tacoma mid-year but couldn't transfer my financial aid so I didn't get the points for being a TCC student. I was super worried about that. Looks like it might be ok after all! Wooooooo!!!

Hello everyone! It looks like the number qualified for the lottery is up to 37 now but still less than the open slots, right?! I'm SO excited right now. *fingers crossed* that we all get in! I'm so excited to meet everyone and get all this going. The waiting has been killing me. Good luck all!
