  1. I was in the exact same Dilemma in early March when I got into both UofT and York- with a 10K scholarship to York. I chose UofT with no scholarship. I did this because I really loved the faculty, they are super organized and helpful compared to what I've heard about from people in the York program. For UofT- we already have our key sessional dates for the next 2 years so you know when reading week is/ exam period/ mandatory in person seminars are. My friend said communication from York has been more limited, less information on their faculty website as well. Also the flexibility of UofT being mostly asychronous online classes takes a large weight off of my shoulders for scheduling at work. But these are just my opinions and if these things matter to you or not. obviously a 10K scholarship is huge and it really depends on your financial situation as well.
  2. Never mind I emailed them and they fixed it! They're up everyone
  3. Did anyone see that they put a new link for the sessional dates for UofT for the undergrads and graduates for 2025- 2026? However, when you click on 2025-2026 for the graduate one they put the old 2024 dates instead of the new dates. The undergrad one is accurate for 2025-2026. I wonder if they just haven't updated it or if this was a mistake... might reach out to the faculty. https://bloomberg.nursing.utoronto.ca/current-students/important-dates/
  4. Has anyone made a Facebook group for UofT NP yet? Also has anyone received any awards from UofT?
  5. Thank you! can you send the link to the facebook group here when you create it?
  6. Does anyone know if there's a Facebook group for UofT NP class of 2027? I see there's an undergraduate group but no graduate one.
  7. I am wondering if this means if we didn't hear back then we didn't get an award?
  8. Which university did you accept to TT2022? ☺️ Has anyone heard from UofT awards/ scholarships yet?
  9. Thank you so much for this insight! I think I am still leaning towards UofT. Does anyone know the pay difference between UofT TA's and YorkU TA's? Also- I heard York limits who they allow to become TA's. My friend said they admitted him but said he couldn't apply to be a TA, where my acceptance letter says that I can be a TA. I was shocked as I didn't know this was even a thing, I just assumed everyone had the opportunity. Anyone know if UofT does this to their students as well?
  10. I'm in the exact same dilemma! Such a hard decision to make.
  11. Anyone hear from UofT awards/scholarships yet? So anxiously waiting to hear from them.
  12. Congrats! That's awesome! Future NP! If you get into the other programs too which one would you choose?
  13. That's awesome that's exactly what I have had since getting the offer letter. Seems like you got accepted then, congrats?
  14. Did you select yes to being considered for any other programs as well like masters of nursing in clinical and/or leadership ? Because I think that happened last year in the forums where people saw their status changed to invited but it wasn't for NP.
  15. York sent me an email this morning that I have been offered admission to York University. They sent me this email a week after I saw I was accepted to NP on my MyFile account. Just an FYI to everyone that seems like York is sending acceptance emails this year.
  16. If beside your deposit it says " Master of Nursing (e-NP) (School of Graduate Studies)” then you probably got in! Because that's what mine says.
  17. Nothing just waiting for TMU. Applied way back in early December and they're the last to reply LOL.
  18. Maybe but right now it seems like all other programs other than UofT is still PHC model.
  19. No I didn't submit any additional application-they just gave it to me on my offer letter.
  20. That is true! Thanks everyone for chiming in. This is gonna be a very difficult decision and I hope UofT offers a good scholarship before I have to make this decision.
  21. The only thing I'm thinking is that UofT is offering the single emphasis NP and York is still the PHCNP. I am wondering if in the future, the PHCNP will begin to limit me to only primary care if they decide to change all NP programs to single emphasis in the future.
  22. It says on their website that out of their 7 PHCNP courses, two are offered online, four require seminar attendance at York. Unless they changed it?
  23. I got a full scholarship to YorkU so now I don't know if I should accept UofT versus YorkU. 35K+ or free tuition. Online versus in person. I know UofT hasn't released their scholarship information yet- anyone know if UofT offers good scholarships?
  24. I am still pretty certain on UofT due to it being mostly online/asynchronous. But it is sad the major difference in cost of tuition between the two programs.
  25. I just randomly checked myfile this morning and it says admitted and to accept/decline offer. However, it said there should be a tab for my official acceptance letter but they haven't uploaded it to the portal yet. Copying from my previous post: I went to UofT compressed nursing. I had 3.64 cumulative GPA, last year GPA was 3.95. I have almost 4 years of experience, 1 year in med-surg, 3 years in paediatrics - all neurosciences focused. To add: My leadership experience is being charge nurse and code-blue nurse.
