Nevermind! I got it resolved at the Board of Nursing office

So I graduated back in December, submitted my ATT application on Breeze. Couldn't remember if I submitted my passport photo along with my initial application so I submitted that as additional documentation back in the beginning of April and now the processing time page says it's beyond the time I submitted my passport photo but I still don't have my ATT. I've tried emailing and I tried calling the California BON over a dozen times today alone with no one answering, not even the automated system. What should I do??

I just took my second self assessment on UWorld and got a low chance of passing NCLEX and I got borderline the first time I took it so now I'm feeling pretty bummed about my chances of passing NCLEX. I was wondering if anyone else got low scores on UWorld and what your experience was with NCLEX

Another question for you, so I'm new to the HESI and I only took it because I was apply to Oklahoma City University, which I didn't get into fall 2018 because there was a bunch of GEs they required that I had not done. Would I have to take the HESI again using whichever school I'm apply to's department ID?

I don't know if it will be more worth it to apply for an ADN program, since I would have to relocate all the way from California. What do you all think?

@AHawkins Do you know what kind of grades do students who get into those BSN programs? I'm worried that I won't qualify. Also I've been doing a little research and there are a couple courses that I haven't taken, like Texas Government, which I can't take in California. Is that going to be an issue?

I've been applying for a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing for the past 2 cycles and I've been rejected from all the schools I've apply to (all in California) so now I'm trying to expand my search since I feel like I'm wasting my time as a newly switched Health Science major student. I was wondering if anyone could recommend to me schools to look into in Texas, particularly in either Dallas, Houston, or Austin. These are the stats for the pre-requisites for Californian schools (i don't know if it's the same for schools in Texas): My science GPA (anatomy & physiology I and II, microbiology, chem): 3.15 My non science GPA (english, communication, psychology, philosophy, statistics): 3.48 Current overall GPA: 3.59 TEAS: 86.7 HESI: 86.7

I applied to Oklahoma City University because my dad's friend's wife went there but with all the difficulties with transcripts and stuff like that, I'm currently waiting to hear back. Thank goodness they extended the deadline because I've completely lost hope and this school was my last chance after getting rejected from the Californian schools I applied to so hopefully I hear good news

Sammiantha, i AM from the Bay Area. I've looked into Chabot, Ohlone, and Merritt college so far for ADNs. I don't qualify for Merritt but for Chabot and Ohlone, I might have a chance but it's also lottery so I don't know if I should try.

Hi meanmaryjean, Thank you for explaning! I am definitely considering the possibility of relocating because California is way too hard for me to get into a nursing school. I've talked a family friend who went to Oklahoma City University, which I've been having some issues with my application to there due to transcripts so I don't know if I'm going to be admitted this year but she also recommended looking into schools in Texas. If you know of any places I could apply to, please let me know! I would really appreciate it.

I was just there and they was saying how they were accredited by the ACCSC. Is that not real? Also, I've been trying to raise my overall GPA but it hasn't gotten me anywhere because I can't retake any of my pre-requisite classes. I also have taken the TEAS twice already so I'm not going to be able to take it again. Any ideas what to do? I just switched to a health science major but that's not going to get me anywhere.

So I've been trying to get into nursing by going the traditional right of starting off at a 4-year university and applying to those BSN programs in California and I've been rejected twice probably because mainly of my GPA and then my TEAS scores. I'm looking into ADN programs and Unitek College popped up as an option and I was wondering if it's legit and worth it.

So I'm looking into other options for me to get into nursing since I got rejected from all the nursing schools I've applied to for a Bachelor's of Nursing (I'm from California) and after researching, an Entry Level Master's program is not going to be an option for me because of my grades and I am not sure about Accelerated Bachelor's of Science in Nursing/Second Bachelor's cause of my grades. I was wondering what the differences were between an Associate's Degree in Nursing and LVN/LPN programs and if you think I'll get in with my stats. My science prereqs (Chem, Anatomy/Phys 1+2, Microbio): 3.13 (if you include the +/-) My non science prereqs (english, comm, philosophy, stats, psych): 3.48 (if you include the +/-) Current cumulative GPA: 3.59 TEAS score: 86.7 HESI: 86.7

Which ADN programs did you apply to?

So I finished my third year of college recently and I got rejected from the nursing programs (BSN) I've applied to for the second year in a row (I'm from California) and I have no idea how to get there. I know my stats are really low but I want to get into a nursing program somewhere. My science prereqs (Chem, Anatomy/Phys 1+2, Microbio): 3.13 (if you include the +/-) My non science prereqs (english, comm, philosophy, stats, psych): 3.48 (if you include the +/-) Current cumulative GPA: 3.59 TEAS score: 86.7 HESI: 86.7 I don't know what to do because I can't retake classes because of my grades but my grades aren't that good. Any opinions?
