at the beginning i knew i was very weak in content. but since i bought hurst and elevate, i felt MUCH more confident in answering the questions. its confusing to me how i can go from not studying at all and getting 75 questions and failing, to actively studying everyday and reviewing rationales and practising exams with hurst, kaplan, laCharity priority text, saunders and still failing at 75. it doesn't make sense.

I'm writing this post because I'm so lost as what to do. So my story starts off with graduating university in Toronto, Canada in October 2016. I was a B/C student occasionally with an A. After graduation I wrote my first exam in February, so about 5 months after finishing school. I did not study at all. I didn't have Uworld or Hurst. I only had the Saunders text which I flipped through. I took that exam and went to 265 and failed. The second time I wrote the exam that year in May. I purchased the learning extension 5 week course from NCSBN. I went through the modules and did some practice questions but again, didn't give it my all. I failed with 75 questions. The third time I wrote the exam, I took the entire month of October off (still same year) work and purchased Uworld. I did 50's per day, every day for a month straight. Read the rationales of every question, made sure I understood and everything, I failed that exam in 265 questions. I just wrote the exam again this month (June 2018). I purchased Uworld again, I bought Hurst for content review because I was obviously very weak in content which I started back in March 2018. I did the Hurst videos, 1 each night until they were finished. I then purchased Elevate through Hurst which had a little extra explanation of each system. I studied the handouts- did 1 module per night for 3 weeks. I then started doing Uworld- 75q/day for 3 weeks before my exam. I was getting anywhere from 58-65% on each practice test. I did 2 of the Hurst practice exams. They are each 125 questions and take about 3 hours. Hurst recommends you get 77/125 to pass the first time. I scored 70 on the first exam and then 76 on the second exam. I wrote my NCLEX yesterday (june 6) and the computer shut off in 75 questions. I tried the PVT and there was no good pop up. I'm devastated because I tried SO much harder this time. I don't know how else to go about studying for this exam. Anyone have any insight?
