Yes. You will start clinicals some time at the end of sept/ beginning of Oct., which are one day per week. Also, you do not have to have all the documents by the first day of class, but they have to be completed and given to school a few weeks before clinicals begin I believe. I would just keep the instructors updated.

I don't know about HESI retakes, but if you look at their website under "current students" there is a handbook that may have that info. Class times vary depending on the semester. For the first year, you will take tests on Tue mornings and then class that afternoon. During the first semester, you will also have class an additional day starting at 8a. Clinicals are usually 6:30-3. You will definitely have more work than just studying. You have to write papers, group projects, and class presentations. Also, preparing for nursing skills practice and check offs. It is hard to explain clinical paperwork, but if you search "nursing school care plans", you will get the idea. To complete those, it takes me about 4-9 hours depending on the health of the patient.

Where do you live? I have children and it is very hard. Just know that clinical sites are all over the place. Some in Dallas, Paris, Sherman, Mesquite, Rowlett, and Greenville. When assigning you to clinical sites, they do not take in to where you live nor will they accommodate you because you have children. Clinicals will change every semester. Most of the time you are in class 1-2 days a week and clinical 1 day a week, but know that there is a HEAVY workload. Also, some semesters you will have 2 clinicals. Clinicals are 630a-3p and you will have clinical paperwork due the next day by 11:59p.

I did too! I have the same pre-reqs left, but I don't think I will be able to complete them in time.

I was accepted! I got my acceptance letter via email last Thursday. It was sent to my Leo account and personal email. Just an FYI, it went to my spam folder.
