Hey y'all I am applying for Fall 2019 as well! I have not decided if I am going to apply for online or on campus yet. I am partnered and work at a hospital so that would give me a bump for the online program but I think I would really prefer the on campus. I am feeling super torn because I don't want to apply to the on campus and not get in and know that I could have had a better chance for online! I met with an advisor last week and I have a 3.95 overall GPA and a 4.0 science GPA so hopefully that will be enough! I have already taken the TEAS and have that done. Good luck to us all!! :)

I never received an availability email but I contacted TWU and they said they have everything for my application and I am verified so hopefully I am being considered. Also I can not figure out how to check the status of my application in NursingCas. I emailed NursingCas and they said my application has been verified so I shouldn't need to view it. On TWUs website it says all descisions will be sent through NursingCas. Do y'all know if we will get an email when they send a desicsion? How will we be contacted?

Hey Y'all! I am applying for Dallas campus spring 2019 and I wanted to share my stats and get your advice/ask a few questions. I have A&P 2 left to take I'm taking it this summer and it will be over just a week before the deadline. I am going to submit my transcripts as soon as they are available. (For these calculations I am assuming an A in A&P 2, speak it into existence right!) Pre Req GPA: 3.94 Nursing Core GPA: 4.0 TEAS: (took it this morning and was less than excited about my results, lowest section by far was science, I am assuming because I haven't taken A&P 2 yet and my test was heavy on this). Overall: 88% Reading: 93.6% Math: 100% Science: 68.1% (OUCH!!!) English: 100% That being said, I was already planning to retake the TEAS after getting some A&P under my belt, I wanted to see where I was at. This puts me at 54.23 points...I would really like to get my TEAS to above a 90 and see that score go up because 54.23 does not seem competitive enough. I have no preferential points. Quick question for y'all- I am going to be transferring core complete from UTA and for one of the blocks I have two different courses that is accepted, I have a B in one class and an A in the other so obviously I would like to factor in the A towards my overall transfer GPA. Do you know which course TWU will select? This is kind of a confusing question and I plan on emailing them about it but wanted to see if any other transfer students had the same question.
