  1. I just got accepted into my local nursing (LPN) program that is starting in August. I am a hands on learner... so my study type is tactile.. I used flash cards and notes in high school and my first semester of college.. My second semester of college it did not work for me to study and to learn it with flashcards.. I need some tips or hacks to learn and not only memorize. Thanks in advance!!!!! Definition off google or better understanding: Tactile Learners. Making up about 5% of the population, tactile and kinesthetic learners absorb information best by doing, experiencing, touching, moving, or being active in some way. Enjoy feeling, discovery, and action.
  2. Sorry I am just now seeing this.. I received my acceptance letter for the LPN program at SLCC today! Several of my friends got denied last week.. I have one friend (including the rest of the applicants who hasn't heard anything) who was selected for a chance of "lottery" admissions due to limited amount of people getting in. not sure about the RN program though.. Hope this helps some!!
  3. Update on me: I got my acceptance letter today via email for LPN!! I had an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2. I had the following grades last semester: A,A,B,C,D.
  4. What information and insight did you find out (if you did )? I applied and will not hear if I have gotten I or not until June or July. I applied for PN though.. Thanks in advance.. :)
  5. Do you (@KellbellzRN) remember the ranges of GPA(s) that mostly got in the program LPN or/and RN? I am currently waiting on my admission status for the LPN program at SLCC. Very curious and nervous.
