  1. Don't count yourself out yet... i know people who received acceptance letters 3 weeks apart from each other from this program last year
  2. so far there are 4 people from my unit that are accepted. If you get waitlisted, this school does an amazing thing where you are considered for the next year unlike most schools. So it is awesome news to those on the waitlist because you have something for sure, but still can look st other schools knowing you have a back up plan at least.
  3. Congratulations! That means no matter what you are in. It is highly likely that they will get through to your name on the list, but either way congrats!
  4. It's just a letter saying congrats, pay us a $1000 in 30 days, people in Minneapolis i know got acceptance letters yesterday, should be more today and whatnot depending on the postal route.
  5. Stats don't make the full picture here it seems. People with less GPAs have gotten in with less certs and years of experience, but had amazing writing skills. They look at science GPA heavily, and writing abilities through your papers. Of course all the other stuff matters a little, but i know people with terrible stats who have been accepted into this program and many programs across the country.
  6. Sorry, I should have clarified. A couple years back they went through the entire waitlist and admitted a couple of applicants early. So instead of being accepted and waiting until the next year, they were able to start immediately that year. That doesn't mean anything for 2019, just saying it for people to understand that every year is different.
  7. I am pretty sure it is 32. We just had 6 or 7 from our hospital start.
  8. I am pretty sure it is 14-15, it could vary year to year. Some years they only get to 3-5 spots on the wait list and some years they go through the entire list. Recently they pulled 2 applicants from the pool of the next years applications and accepted them to start that year. So it really just depends on who else is applying and what they have going on in life/ if they get into other schools they would like to attend. SMUMN is a top 40 school, MN is just a state where every program is ranked decent and is very competitive to get in, maybe because the schools are also some of the cheapest in the country besides the U of M.
  9. I was waitlisted for 2018, so I am in for 2019. They told us that our deposits needed to be in by the middle of the month, I am assuming it will be after that when they have an accurate head count of how many they can accept before the send out this years applicants acceptance letters and or waitlist numbers or even more denials.
