  1. One of my docs recently asked his team to find an aricle he had read. He didn't know the title, nor the author, nor the journal from which it came. He only knew the basic premise of the story. I have looked and looked and looked! I have googled it. I have used every hospital resource we have. I've called local facilities and the Board. I just can't find it. So I am asking for the help of forum goers. Here's what I know: It was an article (or maybe an editorial) in some type of journal. It was about an elderly lady who had been hospitalized. She spoke of how everyone did their tasks and did them well. People came in, did what they needed to do, then left. She said she was very well taken care OF - but never did she feel cared ABOUT. The doc thinks it may have been written by the woman's son, who is a physician. When I was asking around, I received numerous copies of a poem called "The Old Lady Story" or "What Do You See". My assured me that this was NOT what he wanted. It was an article, or a editorial and it has been published in some journal, withing the last FOUR years!!! Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
  2. One of my docs swears he read an article and wants his team to find a copy of it. Here is the info we're given: It's an article, or maybe an editorial, he read in some kind of journal (his wife is an RN so could have been nursing). It's a story about a woman who was hospitalized. She spoke of how everyone came in, did their task and left. She said she was well cared for, but never felt cared about. I thought I new exactly what he was after. The poem called "An Old Lady's Story" or "What do you See?" (same poem). But, unfortunately, that wasn't it. He said it was not a poem, but an article. Or an editorial. Wait, he thinks it may have been written by a physician about his mother's experience in the hospital. That's it - all I've got. I've googled this thing to death! I've exhausted our hospital resources! I just don't know where else to find this thing he insists he needs. Anyone have any clue at all?
