  1. Thank you for your response! Are you by chance in the state of NC? If so, where did you go for your nursing degree? I figured I would still need prerequisites for ADN too, which is why I feel just going for an accelerated BSN seems more logical.
  2. Hi, looking into nursing schools and debating on which course to take. I still need prerequisites, and really would prefer to jump into the accelerated BSN, but considering the ADN. For ADN, do you start right away, or do you need prerequisites for this as well? It has been a while since I have been in school and am new to the state of NC. I am considering South University in High Point for the BSN, not sure of any other places to look; I know the programs are all extremely competitive, and want to apply to places I am most likely to get in, and not be put on a waiting list. Can anyone give any input as far as which to pursue? I do want to be finished ASAP.
  3. Hi! I am new to this site and don't know what I am doing. Not sure if I was supposed to start a new thread regarding my question and don't know how. I am looking into nursing, and need to finish some prerequisites before I can apply. I am located in NC, looked into South University and they are EXPENSIVE, then I read the reviews, and to say the least I want to stay away as I do not want to be ripped off. Can anyone recommend a school that has an accelerated BSN program? Or should I pursue ADN initially then try for the RN to BSN later? Any input would be appreciated.
  4. Hi. I have no idea how this site works, so I don't know how to start a thread or if I am supposed to! However I am doing research about nursing programs, and I went to South University to inquire. I have prerequisites that will possibly transfer but need to complete more. I am just looking for some advice, as I do not want to take out a loan for my prerequisites(want to save for nursing). Is South University a wise choice? The reviews I read about stealing the financial aid and still asking for money scares the heck out of me! I am trying to look at nursing school as an investment and yes I will most likely need to take a loan. Can anyone recommend an accelerated BSN besides South to look into?(I am located in NC) Or if you have any advice about how to maneuver regarding South would be great. Thank you!!!-An anxious but ambitious future student
