  1. There are ways to get into nursing school besides your GPA. Honestly if your score higher than an 85 on your TEAS that like an automatic admission. I had a 3.7 GPA but my TEAS was a 77. I didn't get accepted into the state school but I know a girl who scored an 83 on her TEAS and has a lower GPA than me and she got accepted. Private school is different which is where I attended. I know a girl with a 3.0 whose TEAS score was a 70. They accept lower GPAs because it's sooo expensive.
  2. It depends. My school is religious based so its very strick we can't even wear flipflops.

I'm so excited I started my first year in my BSN program and I have all As. I wanna tell someone but I know everyone in my class would be pissed off so I'm keeping it confined into here. It has been a long road I got a 40 on my first quiz but thanks god they drop the lowest quiz grade. I study 8-10 hrs every single day for my grades. That's only possible because I don't have kids or a job. I do have a boyfriend and thankful he has been understanding. I only see him once a week unlike before when we meet almost every single day. Finales are coming up because I'm on a 5-semester program. This is honestly a shock to me because when I was K-12th grade I made nothing but Cs and maybe a couple of Bs. I really thought of giving up on myself but my mom wouldn't let me. I have some learning disabilities but for some reason, it all worked out during my freshmen year of community college. Really compared to my High school community college was way easier. The classes I took in high school like math were basically a repeat of pre-algebra in college. Same with stats. I'm so glad my mom didn't give up on me. I wish I could tell my past self that it all works out. It just took about 15 years to figure out what works best for me.
