  1. Why is it so bad at Linn-Benton? I am at LCC right now. It is a lot of hard work but I thought all nursing schools were like that?
  2. Looks like I got in at Lane! So there should be one more spot available.
  3. Thanks for being so confident!
  4. I wish you lots of luck. I applied to Linn to but have heard that if you don't live in that county your chances are almost 0. I think the Lane process relies way to heavily on just two questions. You can spend 2 years of you life doing prerequisites and then blow it all in 4 minutes if you got difficult questions. Every college has a different process though, so its great we have more then one option. The interview is 30 percent of your points so if you blow it you are done. I have heard that Chemekata is rated the 3rd best program in the state so it would be exciting to get into. I just can't help but think about he drive for me. I could be in the car 3 and half hours a day, but that is something to think about later. It would be worth it in the end.
  5. I actually was really confident going into the Lane interview and gave what I thought was a great answer on one question. The other question though I stumbled and lost my train of thought it was horrible. Also the other people interviewing me were all ringers. They sounded like they had been practicing for months and sounded very professional. If I was the interviewer I would have picked at least 5 of them before they picked me. I'm just hoping maybe all of the interviewees weren't as awesome and as polished as the ones I got sat with. So where do you live? Which school would be the closest for you to get to? Lane is the closest to me, but the truth is I wold be ecstatic to get in anywhere.
  6. I got 310 points but am still worried because I live out side the county. That means if I have the same score as someone in the county they win by default.
  7. Hi everyone. I was searching the internet trying to find info on the Chemeketa points and found this thread. So I joined all nurses! I took the test to a couple weeks ago and wanted to get an idea on how many points got you in. From this thread it look like 306 and above gives you a good chance. I'm crossing my fingers that it does. I did an interview at LCC last Monday and feel like I did horrible so I'm praying Chemeketa is the ticket. Good luck to everyone else who applied!
